

		PSLX consortium is establishing a new standard for production planning and scheduling in Internet environment.

PSLX leads manufacturing industries to the next stage.

The Objective of the consortium is to establish an APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) standard for collaborative manufacturing and to support world-wide manufacturers implementing valuable APS systems.
As results of our activities, we hope that elaborated manufacturing knowledge and IT based management are combined to Integrate for the next generation's manufacturing industries.

Announcement from Consortium

2006-5-5: OASIS PPS Technical Committee anounces that PPS Part 2 "Transaction Messages" is available to reed in English. This version was submitted to IEC/ISO JWG15 committee as a candidate of IEC62264-5. See. Technical Document page.
2006-4-28: Public review of PSLX V2 (Japanese edition) is started. The review will closed on 19th May.
2006-1-29: The latest version of PSLX object model is in the ppt file. This model is corresponding to the WD 5 of Part 3, and almost the final version in the comming PSLX V2 specification.
2005-11-22: The progress of PSLX V2 specification is briefly introduced in IEC/ISO joint working group held at Washington D.C. from November 14th to 16th. The ppt file for the presentation is available now.
2005-10-10: The version 2 of PSLX specification, which will be publiched in May 2005, has started discussion by the technical committees once a month. Third meeting was held on October 6th, and 6 Japanese working drafts are uploaded. Figures of Domain Objects (Part 3) are new available to review in English.
2005-9-15: Japan netional committee of JWG15 (IEC/ISO) submitted the PSLX specifications as International standard IEC62264. The draft will be discussed in the next meeting in Washington D.C. in November.
2005-7-10: OASIS PPS(Production Planning and Scheduling) TC, which is developing XML schema for PSLX, aproved Part1 committee draft (in Japanese) and corresponding XML schema.
2005-7-7: The PSLX board of directors announced that PSLX specifications published in 2003 and later become license-free for all members and non-members who try to use the specifications in developing software or in consulting even on commercial purposes.
2005-6-29: PSLX Technical forum was held on June 15th 2005 at the Kozo Keikaku event hall, Tokyo Japan. More than 90 participants were interested in the topics of the latest activities in the PSLX projects such as 1) accounting object model in semi-conductor industries, 2) the test-bed for a new protocol discussed in the MESX joint working group, etc. They were also informed that the technical committee would start discussing the version 2 of PSLX technical specification in July 2005.
2005-1-18: The PSLX technical committee aproved the PSLX White paper. Now it is pulished on this site. See the technical document page.
2004-12-30: Drafts of PSLX White paper is now available to download at the technical document page. This white paper shows a concept and outline of the new PSLX specification, which we started developing in 2004.
2004-11-21: A representative of PSLX consortium attended IEC/ISO JWG15 meeting Dec 17th to 19th held at NEMA VA. PSLX presentation is requested as input to 62264 part 3.
2004-10-18: PSLX consortium presented object models for planning and scheduling integration at ICEIMT'04 held at Uiversity of Toronto, Canada. PPT file is now available.
2004-09-23: OASIS PPS(Production Planning and Scheduling) TC made a first internal working draft of XML specification. They are welcome to receive any comment from our consortium. See the draft and schema.
2004-08-24: An article related to PSLX-02 specification was published in Vol.42, No.17 of International Journal of Production Research. The title is "Collaborative agents for production planning and scheduling (CAPPS): a challenge to develop a new software system architecture for manufacturing management in Japan." Abstract
2004-08-24: PSLX made presentation at ISA SP95 meeting in Purdue University, Indianapolis, on Aug. 12th. In the meeting, our twenty four comments to S95 part3 were discussed in order to make easy connection with PSLX. PPT file

2003-12-15: PSLX specifications 00 - 04 were approved by PSLX TC on Dec. 8th 2003. These specifications are published now.
2003-11-26: PSLX specifications 00 - 04 are published as final drafts. These will be recomended after the final review process.
2003-11-21: PPS TC startup presentation was made in OASIS Open days 2003 Japan.
2003-11-20: OASIS formally anounsed the PPS TC that is proposed by the PSLX consortium.

2003-11-7: PSLX specification 02, 03, 04 were proposed on ISO TC184/SC5 ad hoc meeting on Oct. 30. PPT files can be downloaded at Technical Documents page.
2003-09-25: Production Planning and Scheduling TC is formed in OASIS to make a standard in this area based on the PSLX specification. see XML coverpages
2003-09-13: PSLX joins OASIS as a member of non profit organizations.
2003-08-20: PSLX is introduced in the plenary talk on ICPR-17 in Blacksburg, VA USA. PPT file
